The Assessment Process
Diversiton engages an Independent Assessor who undertakes all assessments. She is a specialist and experienced practitioner in international diversity and inclusion. We have been fortunate to have had her support since the inception of the Awards in 2013.
Besides the independence, it is important to have an external assessor for two reasons. Firstly, it has enabled us to monitor changes in the field of diversity and inclusion, especially in line with local and world events. Secondly, it provides our Award winners with a pathway of progression from one year to the next.
Our Assessor will receive your submission and process it independently against an evidence based framework of 60 questions. If she needs further information or clarification we will contact you. She will also provide brief feedback to you – indicating those areas where you may wish to focus on in the coming 12 months. This process enables Award Winners to continue to develop their expertise and approach to inclusion, respect and diversity within the context of their organisation, location and sector.
You can apply online at http://www.diversitychampion.org/on-line-application.html.
If successful you will be able to use the 2024 Award Logos immediately.
